Who Has Time for Ballet?

In an earlier post I mentioned the beginning of Squirt's career in ballet.  That last two weeks and it was clear the child was bored out of her mind.  She said, "I can't move me hips in ballet."  Luckily, the rec center was offering a Disney Hip Hop Dance class that fit out schedule and they allowed us to switch over.  Apparently we're not the first family to make this switch.  Hip Hop?  So much more up her sassy alley.  Is there a long term future in dance?  I suspect not, but she's being silly, shaking those teeny hips, twirling, and learning to follow instruction.  That's good for now.
