Like Father Like Son

Both of the dudes in my life were on cloud 9 two Sunday nights ago.  Tim got the cottage sea doo fixed after a couple years of being out of commission and was giddy to get it out on Lake Mac.  Tim has a special connection with engines and water.  You just have to smile and run with it.  We didn't think Duder would take an interest, but he asked if he could go with.  Tim immediately jumped on this request and took his son out for a joy ride.  I don't know who had the bigger smile as they took off.  Tim's Mom also decided to go out after Dude oh so sweetly asked for Grandma to take a ride with him.  The only difference being that he and Grandma fell off twice, needing a passing by boat to assist them.  He was pretty much dead weight in the water, making it impossible for Grandma to get him back on the machine.  Dude learned not to yank the steering wheel out of the driver's hands after that incident, but handled it like a little trooper.  This Mama was glad she wasn't standing on the pier watching them bob around in the water.

I suspect many more sea doo rides in our son's future.

I love how both of their hair is sticking straight up after the ride!
