Our No Labor Labor Day

This year's Labor Day was chill, chill, chill.  We made our way up to the Jansen cabin around noon, after Squirt's nap, and had a relaxing, lazy few hours.  The kids adore the cabin and come home covered in dirt and sand.  Squirt takes on a whole new form of independence up there and roams around exploring every nook and cranny.  Dude loves finding rocks and sticks and pine cones for his collections (which somehow magically disappear before it's time to come home).  We had a great long weekend and a great day sitting at our desks back at work Tuesday.  Funny how that works.

Dude insisted on dressing as "Zero the Hero" all day.  This new found character attraction is from Kindergarten.  Yes, he's wearing shin guards on his arms.  We made him remove the mask and joker hat.

There were 2 baby deer in the field, so the boys were making deer sounds trying to get them to come.

The twins.  Amazing that they're not really.

Tim, Bruce, Mark and Sue worked on fence posts.  Where there's work to be done, Tim is right there in the thick.

Squirt's showing off her "Gigi face."  If you know my Gram, you know this face well.

Walking Sammy was Dude's highlight of the day.  He's not too keen on canines, but Sammy makes the grade in his book.

 Love.

Great pics! Glad you had fun. Lando and Reagan really do look like twins :)
