Fall's Kinda in the Air

Ok, if it weren't for the fact that it was 94 degrees today and not a leaf is changing due to the balmy temps, it would feel like Fall.  It's supposed to feel like Fall, so we hi-tailed it to our first pumpkin patch of the season.  Of course we took Riles with us.  A friend makes these excursions so much more enjoyable.  We oohed and ahhhed over some ginormous pumpkins, got the little ones' faces painted, walked through hay mazes and dined on cardboard pizza in the back of the Pilot.  And we sweated.  A great Summfall day?

How long did Dude's face paint last?  30 seconds.  He did a big face wipe and lick and half of his rad race car was history.  $3 well spent.

Of course we rode this tractor.  It had eyes.

1,000 pound pumpkins.  The kids didn't seem phased, but Tim and I thought they were pretty cooooo.

Their little faces are in there somewhere.  Neither kiddo was down for the haunted house, so this was the spookiest we got.

Last, but not least, Tim's Uncle Mark came to town for a conference and spent a night with us.  Dude LOVED the grandpa-like attention from Mark.  It was fun having fam in town.
