Dynamic Duo

We're preparing to say "farewell" to our Foreman friends. They're up and moving to Kansas City for a much needed job change for Eric. It'll allow him to stop traveling and spend more time his lovely wife, Jackster and baby sweetness. But that means my drinking/happy hour/shoulder to whine on/just as flustered at the parenting game as I am/voice of logic/laugh at ourselves and our children gal pal won't be at my beckon call anymore. And that makes me so very sad. So very sad. BUT, we're happy for our friends and know that's it not all about us.  Well, maybe a little bit it is.  This move will be a great great thing for their fam.

We met at the park tonight for a 2012 Foreman photo shoot and some serious park playin and picnicin. Jack and Duder were themselves, so we decided to capture their very special/quirky/turbulent/loving relationship. Enjoy.

Cant' forget about our baby girls. Harper is just like Duder (mild, easy, go with the flow, doesn't make a fuss). Our Squirt is just like Jack (adventurous, OCD, opinionated, makes her own flow, find mess wherever she goes). Megan laughs her evil laugh at the fact that I finally "get it." And I do. 

My favorite shot of the night.  Mommy Megan took away the balls o fun when the boys were literally wrestling and cat fighting over who got the red one.  We all got a good laugh out of it, but couldn't condone the hitting and biting and whatever else was taking place between them. 

Above is the reaction from the once rambunctious boys following the big round objects being confiscated.  Craaaaaaaby.  Soon after they apologized to each other and then fought over who accepted the apology first.  It was time to go home.  And so we did. 

We're really gonna miss you crazy kids.  Hard to believe it's already been 5 years of bonding.  We promise not to erase our contact info just yet:)
