We have a very famous (in the context of cows and horses) stock show that comes to Denver every year.  This year we bit the $42 bullet and took the kids (and Riley) to check out what all the hype is about.  Indeed, there was a boat load of livestock available for viewing, petting, smelling etc.  The kids were entranced by all the action around them.  They also made a game out of avoiding the large piles of poop.  As did we.  The rodeo clown show was their fave.  Tim and I were a bit (ok, a lot) leery of the weird man that stuffs live animals down his over sized pants for a living.
The red faced man in the middle is the afore mentioned rodeo clown.
 What a stud.
This was Squirt's reaction to the petting zoo.  Love it.
The Stock Show was an overall hit, but we might just take next year off from the poop.
