Celebrating our 2 Year Old Princess

Our pretty girl had a very frilly Friday morning birthday tea party with her closest 1-4 year old gal pals.  And Oma of course.  They played a little dress up, decorated crowns, dined on muffins (made by Tim), cheese, apples and such, played with their baby dolls, danced around the island, sang and inhaled pink frosted cupcakes and rounded out the morning with present time.  Needless to say, Squirt thought this was quite a magical morning of "me" centered time.  She was one happy 2 year old and promptly went to bed when our last guests departed.

Brinley is Squirt's other half at day care.  They are absolutely darling together and hug all day long.

Thank you to Pinterest for inspiring the balloon wall and tutu centerpiece.  Seriously, what did I do before my friend Pinterest came along?

"Hadley" was one of Squirt's first words and one used on a daily basis around our house.  As is "DD" who was sadly out of town for our girly festivities.

 Love, love, love.

Little Bailey's very first birthday party.

I bought trick candles, which allowed for more time to film and observe Squirt puffing her cheeks out.  She eventually tried grabbing the cupcake through the flames, so we had to extinguish them.

Can you tell these beauties apart?  Embarrassingly enough, most of the time we can't.  They're quite the darling pair.

Taylor was our bashful princess.

This talking and lighting up tea set has become a hot commodity around here.  For both Squirt and her big brother.

On Squirt's actual birthday (Monday), we celebrated as a fam.  She opened her gifts and was allowed the opportunity to chow on mac and cheese and hot dogs.  What a night.

When we visited a local toy store last week, Squirt walked around with 5 of these puppies in a bag on each arm, barking all the while.  How could I not get her one of her very own?

The beauty of a 2 year old is the ability to give her plates and cups and get a reaction of pure joy.

This pretty princess attire came from cousins D & Hudson.  We're pretty sure she likes it.

Dude couldn't let a post go by without a shot of his cute mug.

My not so baby girl.  Oh how I love everything about you.  You fill my cup sweet punky.
